Dear Members,
Welcome and Introduction:
I want to thank you all for your hardwork and
participation in our great convention. I am
humbled by your support, and wholeheartedly
accept your nomination for President. I want
to continue and build upon the great work done
by President Dan Patel and LPS Committee. Please
give all of them a big round of applause.
The Levua Patidar Samaj exists for you - each
and every member. The intention of our association
is to PROVIDE each member with professional
service, useful programs and visionary projects.
You are the real owner and decision maker of
this association.
During this year, I want to move our Samaj
and Members to a new level of peace, health
and prosperity. Let me explain some specific
ideas and action plan:
Memberships:
We want to focus on increasing
annual and life memberships by providing cutting
edge services and long term value to our members.
We want to make 1000 plus life members and 2500
plus annual members. We want to create programs,
projects and tools such that each member receive
high value, greater satisfaction and joy through
their membership.
Regional Meetings:
The most important work that we will need to
do to achieve our objectives is to be in communication
and to meet each other regularly. Regional meetings
are the backbone of our success and are really
useful for our long-term success.
We want to organize several regional meetings
around cities across the USA and organize two
international meetings during December in India.
These meetings will help strengthen and build
bonds between our members.
Preserving Cultural Heritage:
I am sure, all of you want your children to
know and experience our cultural heritage. You
want your kids to feel proud of their samaj
and identity. Our culture is priceless. Our
heritage is unique and it defines our very existence.
We are what we are today because of our heritage.
I want to take concrete steps to preserve our
cultural heritage. To this effect, we plan to
publish our cultural books in English, on Multimedia
CD and on Internet. We want to have special
websites with stories about our culture and
heritage. I have already identified Multimedia
CDs that give stories from Panchtantra, Ramayan,
Krishna-Lila and other important topics.
On this august occasion, we are launching the
website www.ilovemyculture.com
for our kids.
I invite honorable members to use this site,
download stories and give your suggestions for
the future development of the website. Leuva
Patidar Samaj Of USA is the owner of this website
and all the content. The website is developed
and maintained on honorary basis by CGS Infotech
Ltd of India.
Leuva Connection Magazine:
We want to continue the success of Leuva Connections
Magazine. This will be sent out on a regular
basis and will be a connection of our youth
to our leuva community, providing insights to
our culture and our heritage. The magazine will
also feature stories of our community’s
achievement in India and USA.
Youth Activities:
We will create opportunities for our youth to
express their own abilities and talents to further
benefit our community and LPS. We will take
support of Internet and Website to achieve this
objective.
Leuva Patidary Samaj Family Day:
Our samaj has always stayed together, united
like one single family. We want to expand and
enhance our identity and family. The “Leuva
Day” will be similar to Mothers Day and
Father Day, where our families will get together
and celebrate our existence as Leuva Patidar.
All individuals from families can share this
special day together and see who we are and
where we come from.
I propose that we celebrate 10th July every
year as the Leuva Patidar Samaj Day. On this
day, we will celebrate our values, our hard-work,
our culture, our heritage and the love and affection
in our family. I invite all members to participate
fully in this unique project.

Cruise and Picnic:
We want to organize LPS members trip, picnic
or a cruise to a destination for family holiday.
Participation From Our Members:
Our community members have heart
of gold. Their love and generosity is simply
unbelievable. We want to get more participation
and support from our members that can enhance
our reputation and satisfaction of our members.
Increasing Wealth Of Samaj Members
With The Use Of Technology:
The second intention I have for
our Samaj is increasing prosperity and wealth
of each Samaj member in India and USA. We want
to initiate programs and projects that enhance
the prosperity of our members. You will agree
that in today’s world to be successful
will require us to be at the leading edge of
technology and use the latest in technology
for business expansion. I want all our members
to latest in Internet and E-commerce for their
business.
Leuva Matrimonial Service and Website:
We want to provide support to Leuva
Parents who have children of marrying age and
need assistance and guidance in finding a suitable
spouse. A registry or list or an online website
can be created and continually updated with
the help of our members.
Conclusion:
The responsibility of keeping our association
alive, vibrant and youthful rests on every one.
It is a sacred responsibility that we have to
fulfill and pass on to our generations. Our
forefathers retained our heritage and values
for us; we are called upon to do the same. I
am proud to be the member of great Leva Patidar
community. Our community is hard-working, responsible
and dedicated to the cause we take-up. I invite
all of you to enroll all our samaj members into
this wonderful association and participate in
all our activities with energy and enthusiasm.
